The Milwaukee 2290-21 12V Sub-Scanner Detection Tool Kit features the 2290-20, a heavy-duty, pistol-grip scanner that's ideal for professional and industrial applications. This all-in-one tool lets you know where and how deep you can drill and is ideal for any jobsite. This kit also comes with a long-lasting M12 battery, charger, and carrying case for easy portability and storage.
Scan through just about anything with this compact, handy scanner. Efficient and remarkably versatile, the 2290-20 measures depth and location of rebar up to six inches through concrete, detects the location of wood, PEX, PVC, and metal, and differentiates between steel (ferrous) and copper or aluminum (non-ferrous) metals. Additionally, an embedded AC-voltage detection system identifies the location of live wires not in conduit. For even more flexibility, the 2290-20 scans through gypsum, PSB ceramic tile, and marble. The 2290-20's intuitive user interface and high-contrast, back-lit, white-on-black display graphically indicates the precise location of stud centers and edges. An added bonus, auto calibration makes for easy operation, and rugged over-molding improves durability and grip for all-day, long-term use. This tool is backed by a five-year limited manufacturer's warranty.
M12 Lithium-Ion Power: Compact, Lightweight, and Dependable The 2290-20 owes its long-lasting, fade-free power to a 1.4-amp-hour lithium-ion battery. Since lithium-ion batteries are significantly smaller and lighter than competitive NiCad batteries, they play an integral role in making the 2290-20 ergonomic, comfortable to use, and easy to maneuver while you work. Also, lithium-ion batteries offer long battery life and charge in 30 minutes with the M12 charger.
